Cancellation Policy

Our editions are available as a monthly subscription, and past editions may occasionally be available as one-time purchases while stocks last. This policy explains how each option works.

Subscriptions
When you subscribe, you'll receive one edition each month. Your first payment is taken when you subscribe. After that, you're billed automatically on the 28th of each month. If the next 28th is less than 27 days after your sign-up, your first recurring charge will be on the 28th of the following month instead, so you're never charged twice in quick succession.

Your payment details are stored securely by our payment provider and charged automatically each billing cycle until you cancel. Founding Member pricing stays the same for as long as your subscription remains active.

Cancelling Your Subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time after receiving your first edition. The easiest way is our "Cancel contracts here" button, which you can use without logging in. You can also cancel via the link in your order confirmation email or by emailing us at hello@symbolsandthoughts.com.

If you cancel before your next billing date (the 28th), you won't be charged again. Cancelling stops all future charges but does not affect editions already paid for or shipped.

One-Time Purchases
Past editions may also be available individually as one-time purchases, subject to availability. These are single, standalone orders with no recurring charge and no subscription to cancel. Once shipped, the purchase is complete.

Right of Withdrawal, Returns & Refunds
Separately from cancelling, you have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal for both subscriptions and one-time purchases, which you can exercise via our "Withdraw from contract here" button. For full details on withdrawal, returns and refunds, see our Cancellation & Refund Policy.
